Asana/Chanting Class For thousands of years, people have recognized and enjoyed the remarkable effects of sound. Chanting is the art and discipline of finding our own voice and using it to quiet the mind. open the heart and uplift the spirit. It can help us connect with ourselves and others. In this series of 4 classes, Ayla Harrison will combine yoga asana(postures), breathing (pranayama), movement with sound, and excerpts of vedic and other chants to experience this form of art as part of your yoga practice. Each class is a full 2 hr class. |
